20 Year Limited Warranty on HAASE Energy Storage Tanks

Warranty

This warranty applies to the GRP components of HAASE energy storage tanks used for the purpose of providing solar pre-heated water. The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and any subsequent owners at the same location.
HAASE warrants the energy storage tank against defects in the GRP-components under normal use and service for a period of twenty (20) years from the date of initial installation. All other components are warranted for a maximum period of three (3) years from the date of initial installation.

HAASE agrees to remedy any defect in the GRP-components when such defects become evident. HAASE will, at its option, field-inspect the GRP-components to verify the failure, identify probable cause of failure and determine corrective action within a reasonable time. Upon determination of tank failure, HAASE`s personnel replaces the tank at the owner's expense. The tank will be repaired or replaced and returned freight pre-paid to owner. Labor costs are not included within this warranty.

HAASE makes no warranties as to the application of the tank to or performance use of the tank in any particular system application. HAASE shall not be liable for consequential damages or any incidental expenses or loss of revenue resulting from any breach of the above express warranty.

Exclusions

The warranty does not apply to the following conditions:

• The tank has not been purchased or installed by a certified HAASE distributor or installation contactor.
• Damage or any sort of misuse of the HAASE label or trade mark.
• Those conditions are caused by a defect in a component part, which is not part of the tank supplied by HAASE or its certified distributor.
• The HAASE installation manual and installation video has not been used during the installation procedure.
• Damage of any sort or nature resulting from abuse, misuse, neglect, vandalism, accidents or fire, abnormal weather conditions, acts of God, utility power spikes or other causes beyond the control of HAASE.
• Conditions resulting from repair or alteration by anyone other than the original equipment manufacturer or person duly authorized by HAASE. For such repair or alteration made by unauthorized personnel, no warranty is extended.
